Scope and owner

This policy describes information handling on thefahadshakir.com, the professional portfolio of Fahad Bin Shakir in Islamabad, Pakistan. Privacy enquiries may be sent to [email protected].

Analytics and consent

Google Analytics 4 may process route visits, interactions, device and browser details, approximate geography, and enabled enhanced measurement events only after analytics consent. Analytics is designed not to receive email addresses, phone numbers, message text, or personal query string data. Optional analytics and advertising consent defaults to denied and may be changed through Cookie preferences.

Contact form

The contact form submits a name, reply email address, subject, message, timing field, and empty spam prevention field to the /api/contact endpoint on the same origin. Valid enquiries are relayed to the portfolio owner through Resend. The site does not write submissions to an application database, but the deployment and email providers may process operational logs and delivered messages under their own retention and privacy terms. Do not submit passwords, payment data, private keys, or other sensitive information.

Chat and external services

Email, phone, WhatsApp, social, and project links lead to external services under their own policies. The optional portfolio assistant sends submitted text and limited recent context to a server side endpoint and configured AI provider to generate a response; visitors should not submit confidential information.

Advertising status

Google AdSense is not currently enabled. No AdSense publisher ID, production ad slot, or advertising cookie is active. Policies and consent controls will be updated before future advertising is enabled.

Retention, rights, and international processing

Consent choices remain on the visitor's device until changed or cleared. Analytics retention follows the configured Google property settings, while hosting, email, and communications providers apply their own retention practices. Depending on location, visitors may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Service providers may process information outside a visitor's country under their safeguards and applicable law.
